FABRICS
The appearance of a garment is greatly influenced by the fabric used, not all fabrics are suitable. I am particular about the artistic attributes fabrics bring to the overall design of our bags and accessories.
Jayne Design would truly not function without the companies such as Spoonflower, AL Frances Textiles, and Rifle Paper Company and their wonderful artists.
The fabrics used for our products are the foundation of the business and having it printed in the U.S.A with eco-friendly inks, fabric, and waxes.
SELECTION
Jayne Designs selects heavier-weight fabrics such as canvas or upholstery fabric for the superior structure of the bags.

Many of the fabrics are hand waxed with organic bees wax. We often use Harris Tweed, a naturally sourced wool, from the Outer Hebrides, or Horween Leather made in the USA.

Our selection process is meticulous insuring the final product meets our standards.
